I don't like that a yank played the male lead

was Hugh Grant not available or something? And how the hell do they get married immediately bumping after each other and sharing a couple of sentences?

I wasn't born yesterday, you know - I've seen movies.

American men are quite suave apparently.

Uhhh, you clearly don't have the education and brain function. This is why some films should add a text on bottom saying 3 Months Later, etc...cuz obviously some people, like ya, don't understand time jumps in movies and series.

If you don't like the fact that an American was chosen to be the male lead, get over it!

Hugh Grant was not available, and you know quite well that variant casting choices happen all the time in movieland. How do you think Americans felt when Vivian Leigh was chosen to play Scarlett O'Hara? That was a great big, huge controversy. Roger's character was changed to accomodate his American accent for whatever reason, so that might tik purists off but these things do happen.

Hugh Grant was EXACTLY who I wanted to play Roger in this movie. Great minds think alike!
