Is Deadwood mentioned at all in the series?

I watched this whole documentary a few years ago on Netflix and absolutely loved it, I also just recently watched all of the HBO series "Deadwood" and it was absolutely incredibly. One of the best Western genre shows/films you will ever see, extremely gritty and real.

Now, with my increased interest in the specific history of Deadwood, my question is; does Ken Burn's "The West" talk about Deadwood at all in any of the episodes? IF so, does it mention it in any detail or just in passing or vague references?

I've been watching The West and have seen the first six episodes. I do recall hearing Deadwood mentioned in one of them but I can't remember which. They often go back to earlier times when covering a subject, so it's possible it'll come up again. The whole thing is on Netflix for watching online in case you're interested.

I just watched it. Never heard of Deadwood before and haven't heard of it now. They didn't mention any gunslingers at all. Only Buffalo Bill was in it.
