Out of all those very bright folks it seems that Jobs was the one who saw what products would eventually be LOVED by the public. He admitted he stole some ideas but so what? It's what you do with the idea. Xerox was just like IBM, with corporate blinders on at the very top.

His sense of design is light years ahead of the pack. Now....if I could only afford his stuff.

That's true.It is still holds true at present with products like iPod,iPad and iPhone of Apple. With Apple,the company considers greatly on how the product will be appreciated by the public.

Xerox was allowed to buy pre-IPO stock from Apple, in exchange for engineer visits and an understanding that Apple would create a GUI product.
