Just read confirmations that this life will definately be back for a 10 year anniversary christmas special! Hurrah! All the best characters will be back, anna, egg, miles etc although they will all be meeting up to attend someones funeral!
BBC2 will even be showing series 1&2 in the run up to the special.
Lets hope its successful enough to warrent a third series.

shareSo when does the re-run of Series 1 begin? I'd like not to miss it. NEVER did watch This Life! I hope someone knows when. There were supposedly 38 eps in Series 1/2 and they need to be squeezed in before the reunion show is broadcast at Christmas.
shareThere were 31 episodes in total (11 in series 1, 21 in the second. The last time it was repeated by BBC2 the programmes were broadcast four or five nights a week (Sun to Thu at about 10pm I think), so I imagine they will do something similar, probably beginning in October.
I still can't get my head round the fact that right now, somewhere in London (and/or Sussex), scenes are being shot of my favourite ever tv programme.
And I wonder did Ramon Tikaram (Ferdy) turn down the chance to return with the rest of the cast (looking at his imdb profile he does look seem pretty busy at the moment) or was it always the script-writers intention that it would be his funeral to reunite the characters.
according to bbc news Ramon Tikaram who played ferdy wasnt invited to rejoin the cast for the reunion episode at all, "They didn't want me to do it. I wasn't asked,"
"All I got told was: 'There's a funeral. It's yours. That's why this episode is happening.'"

It is a shame that Ferdy won't be in it but at the same time i'm not that bothered. I'm not at all suprised that it looks like they will be using his funeral as an excuse to reunite everybody, I think he was the only supporting character that realistically everybody would attend the funeral of. Kira was the only other one possibly. Besides, a new special was only ever going to work if they got the main and original house members back - Egg, Milly, Miles, Warren and Anna. They have, and so i think they can get by without the others. I simply can't wait to see it!!!
