I Remember watching this 10 years ago, switched on last night to see...

I'm trying not to watch every night, but to tape and see later, but somehow...The sleep deprivation I am suffering fits in nicely with our hungover friends on screen trying to function on no sleep

right there with you, i never ever buy a tv guide but happened to last weekend and was lucky enough to spot the repeats. i'm a parent now and get up at 6am so taping each double bill and watching it again the next night, caught all 12 so far despite the video player chewing one old tape (i literally took both tape and player again to respool it to watch it).

It's great watching it again, especially as now i'm 30 and a grown up, a few years older than the characters, when it was on first time around i was 20 and at uni and the characters were a few years older than me. but i was most definitely into the same beer fuelled lifestyle. i also own most of the music played so far in the series, even the more obscure stuff you hear in the background sometimes.

i'm surprised just how much of it i remember, right down to quotes like: "Legs?" ... "Strong looking..." ... the whole thing makes me long for my uni days of old by association, when 6am was when i went to bed!
