Just started watching it and it isn't so bad at all, kinda made me wish that the 2003 Tarzan series was done like this. Not modernizes it cause I don't know how it could be made better.

I got it yesterday from Amazon Uk. not so expensive and very good for TV series. Plenty of the fantasy element from the original books. Seen four episodes and enjoy them all. Have to notice the pretty girls, as many and different as Star Trek TOS use to have :)
shareI agree with you. I love the series even though it seems a bit silly with the weird effects but I like how they stick close to the book, wished there were more Jane and Tarzan interaction though. I love Jane and Tarzan.
Sad when it is made into another movie, it will not be close to the books, just another Hollywood blockbuster action pack movie, really boring. Nothing true to the book.
I'm not sure if there was some kind of pilot that is not included on this dutch edition. I remember many years ago there was a VHS edition of a Tarzan "Movie" with Lara and i don't mean the one with Tony Curtis.
