some actors...

Hello :) I am from Prague, and i love this tv series. (sorry for my poor english) Years ago we recorded this series on video (dubbed to czech language), and now, after ten years we started watching again and enjoying it alot. I would like to know more about some actors, what they are doing now, especially Tai Nguyen (he is very lovely, isnt he?), Matt Castelli or Mellisa Thomas. I also like Peter Hardy. I surfed about them on google, but there are not many informations about them novadays. Any curent pic of Tai Nguyen ?? :))

If there is available DVD in orriginal sound, i would love to buy it, but probably not exist :(

you all take care :)

A mate of mine was in this series...
He was only in one episode...
As I live in Perth (where it was filmed) it was a pretty big thing at the time..
Of course Heath was an unknown at the time..
Not that my mate was Heath...
WIsh he was...
All I know was that Heath played Hokey for a prestigious Perth Boys school..

and according to my mate he loved himself..

Oh well

I played a small role in episode 5. Heath was there, and as the other guy said, he was an unknown back in 1996. It was a big risk for him to take on the role of a homosexual. It obviously paid off. He has now had critical success with his role in Brokeback Mountain, and in 2008 with The Dark Knight. I played the part of the soap opera television director. Pictures of Tai Nguyen can be found at http://www.australiantelevision.net/sweat.html

Thanks alot for reply :) Happy to know someone who played in Sweat, even smaller role :) Yes, that time it was risk for Heath, but as a brave guy he decided well. One day Heath will be same level as Jack Nicholson and other great actors. Sadly, we cannot see our favourite Tai Nguyed recenly in any movie. Hope he is doing well, he was most sympathy actor for me :)
Thanks

Sweat was an awesome show.
Inge Hornstra who played a gymnast on the show starred in a really successful Australian show called 'McLeod's Daughters' recently. She's such a talented actress.

How bizarre that you were writing about Heath's future ... just as he dies. Alas, the shock was considerable for many of us who admired his bravery in acting roles perceived as risky, with such strength and beauty.
