best episode

Which one do u think is the best?

I really liked all the crossover episodes, (batman, green latern, aquaman episodes). aside from those, the first Mxyzptlk was my favorite. Superman had to fight a villain without fists, using wit alone!

I also love all the batman crossover episodes.
A really good one for me is the episode where Lana comes back and she's dating Lex, and then she almost starts an affair with Clark - now that is pretty scandalous.

The World's Finest three parter.

For a single episode, The Late Clark Kent.

Straightedge means I'm better than you.

I just finished running through the series and my favorite episodes are:

Bizzaro's World (S2E20) - I loved this incarnation of Bizarro, even if there was no alternate dimension involved. Bizarro was like Lenny from 'Of Mice and Men'. A happy ending for everyone is something that other superhero conflicts rarely have.

The Late Clark Kent (S2E22) - I like the storytelling from Superman's point of view. The backdrop of having to spring an innocent man from death row was good suspense, rather than having yet another villain challenge Superman physically.

Apokolips... Now! (S2E25-26) - I loved the ending. Dan Turpin was built up perfectly. His death at the end was heartbreaking. Death is something you rarely see in superhero movies/TV shows and it was used well here. It put Darkseid on the list of top villains for the run of this show.

Both the episodes with Mxyzptlk were much needed comedic breaks. Too many of the villains challenged Superman psychically. It was always nice when they had an non-physical challenge for Superman. I also liked the Batman crossover episodes. They were all good. Especially the one where Superman needs to stand in for Batman (though the ending with Brainiac was a little disappointing, the other 15 minutes of that episode were very good).

I'm partial to World's Finest. Seeing Superman put his hand on Batman's shoulder.

Superman: That's enough. I think you got what you need.

Batman flips him over.

Superman: ....

My favorite is right after that. When Superman should tackles Batman into the wall.

Can't stop the signal.

Apokalips Now!, for me, though World's Finest is close.

Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!

It's a tie for me between The Late Mr. Kent and Apokolips Now Part II.

World's Finest

Legacy, and The Late Mr. Kent too. I never, ever understood the fervent love for Apokolips Now at all, just a really substandard two-parter with a weak ending. Lotta Kirby fanboys I guess.
