And seemed to get stupider as the series went on, plus how was being in a music class going to help them graduate anyway?

Maybe they needed the music class as a credit to graduate. Lydia wasn't dumb, nethier was Sophia or Sara, just Romeo and Bullethead.

Depends on what they wanted to do in college, may need it on their transcript. They may have wanted some form of Art degree in the future. Bullet head played the drums, Romeo Rapped, Sophia loved plays and can paint, and Sara clearly wanted to be an actor.

I wish I can go back in time and pinch those chubby little cheeks and tell you nothing will be ok.
