some inside jokes

Peter David wrote Hulk at the time he was also writing this.Every once in awhile he put in some inside jokes about Hulk or some other Marvel characters. Bill Mumy was in Lost in Space, among many other things,like Twilight Zone.There was episode of teddy bear. That came up also in Babylon 5 that Peter David also wrote.It was inside joke between Bill Mumy and him. Something about one of them gave a teddy bear to other's daughter, and ended up back to the sender.
Other inside jokes are Bova,after Ben Bova,a science fiction writer. That name also appears in Babylon 5,the psi-cop was Ben Bova. Harlan,possibly Harlan Ellison, a science fiction writer,too.Harlan appeared on Babylon 5 and wrote quite a few stories. I used to like the exclamation,"Cameleopidus." Actual constellation. Lost in Space had the family Robinson lost for five years. Supposedly, Space Cases in seven years. The title is even humorous.That is something you say about a bunch of crazy people. There is a robot that protects them, just like Robot helps Will Robinson. I had forgotten that Jewel Staite was Catalina. I heard sometimes the kids suggest plots to Peter David. But he is a prolific writer. He wrote Star Trek stories and his own science fiction,too. If you see him at a convention, ask him about the bear.
