Season 1 on DVD April 18!

TVShowsOnDVD.com only covers region 1 DVDs (US & Canada), so I couldn't tell you about a region 2 release. Did The Sentinel ever air in the UK? I know some of the more popular U.S. shows, like Buffy, were released on DVD in region 2 before region 1. The Sentinel wasn't a hugely popular show over here though. If it isn't released over there, there's always the possiblity of getting a region 1 copy and playing it with software or hardware that ignores the region coding.

The Sentinel only arrived on UK TV a couple of years ago. In an early evening slot, airing 5 times a week.

I'm not sure what the ratings were, but it lasted in that slot a lot longer than other shows that premiered in the slot, so I always assumed it was getting decent ratings and they left it there.

That's so cool. I wonder if you can rent it on Netflicks (I don't think that I want to own it). I might look into that.

Did the rest ever make it on to DVD?
This is definitely one of the shows which are an absolute bitch to find.

Sadly, no. As far as I know, there is no official way to get seasons 2-4. All I have are homemade recordings on VCD from when the Sci Fi Channel used to air the show. Someone out there might have made higher quality recordings from TV.
