List the Seasons!

Hey, sorry if this thread has already been made, but I was very curious to understand what the fans thought about the series as a whole...which was the best season, and so forth. Being on the Stars board, I can only imagine it will get lots of love.

For me, I think every season was fantastic. Being male and almost 19, I thought revisiting this (though, subbed and in Japanese) would be a nuissance due to the English kiddier version, but man. Sailor Moon is one of the best TV series I have ever endured. With that, here are my listings:

5. Season IV: SuperS - [Enjoyable, but definitely the weakest imo...too much Mini Moon]

4. Season V: Stars - [Muddles in the middle, but the beginning and end are amazing! I love the episode where Iron Mouse is fearing the telephone call from Galaxia. Hilarious!!]

3. Season II: R - [Listing the top 3 is tough. Hell, the entire series is tough. It's so well done. But I put this here because, well...the main story was shortened with the inclusion of the aliens. But it was still all good and we got so much more background to the moon kingdom...]

2. Season I: Pretty Soldier - [This had to be in the top 2. Excellent villains, the best inner sensai relationships, and a great slasher episode in Episode 45.]

1. Season III: S - [Dark! The apocalypse dreams, the death of Pluto, introduction to the other scouts, and so on...Saturn being evil...what a brilliant idea! The lab girls were also a perfect touch. I loved them all! Even Mimet, hehe]

I thought I'd list my favourite seasons, too.

1. Stars- I didn't think I would like this season as much, but boy was I wrong! I <3 it! I really love the Starlights, and the music is awesome, too. There was so much emotion throughout the whole of the series. For the first time, Usagi's emotions are quite subtle. The way she hides from everyone her longing for Momoru by always trying to be cheerful. Also, I loved the interaction between her and Seiya. They were like soul mates, how much they fit together! :p I didn't care too much for the first part, though, with the short return of Nehelania. I found that bit a bit boring. But the rest rocked.

2. Season 1- I thought the first season was perfectly paced and kept you on the edge of your seat. I went through this series in like 3 days simply because I couldn't stop watching.

3. R- I liked both tiers of this season, even the Alien parts. It was just a lot of fun to watch.

4. SuperS- I did think that this season dragged a lot at times and I did find myself getting tired of Pegasus at one point, but it's still a good watch.

5. S- I honestly didn't like this season as much as the others because I'm not a big fan of Uranus and Neptune. A lot of it actually has to do with the way they are portrayed artistically. I don't feel the anime artists spent as much time with them. Their transformations are much shorter, their sailor suits are more generic, their attacks are repetitive (they don't ever upgrade) and their overall features are uninspiring. Plus, I just couldn't like their personalities a lot of the time. Funny, enough, though, my favourite episode of the whole series is in S. It's the episode where they visit the tea mistress. Chibi Usa and Usagi are so hilarious in that episode! I love it when Chibi Moon's wand won't work, and then, at one point, after a few seconds pause, it suddenly does work. LOL Comedic genius!
