I felt sorry for the mother toward the end when first her husband makes a speech thanking those who helped him for his newpaper and never mentioned her at all and then Isabel (one of the boneheaded things ever done) says to a friend that she did not want to be like her mother which she heard. What a slap in the face these two were.
