Illegal in the US?

I'm a member of Netflix and have Season 3 in my queue. I was reading through some of the reviews there and someone said Seasons 1 and 2 are illegal in the United States. Is there any truth to this? Why? Well, I can understand why. It's scientific and paranormal and I know how America feels about the co-mingling of that. But I don't see why it is illegal. It's Canadian for crying out loud. Why hasn't a Canadian distributor gotten a hold of this and released it? Where the hell is Dan Aykroyd?

you can always just import from germany thats what i did. only one episode where there was an issue due to the fact the opening was in french with german subtitles.

How could it be illegal? I SAW them on tv in the SF Bay Area.

they have Alliance Home Vide just announce the release of season 1 in Canada for July.

Also, whoever wrote in the reviews on netflix that it was Illegal is an idiot. there is no such thing as an "illegal" show.

No, they are not illegal in the US. Maybe they simnply have not been released.

not illegal netflix prolly doesn't own the rights to season 1-2
