this little red head boy gets kidnapped??

Except for one episode years and years ago, I have not watched Promised Land. But the episode I did watch, and I'm pretty sure it was Promised Land, was about this little red head boy getting kidnapped by a woman and for some reason, way back then, I thought that 7th Heaven teamed up with Promised Land and they made an episode together. But I know that isn't true because I'm a huge fan of 7th Heaven and have the first four seasons.

It was a cross episode of Touched by an Angel. His father got in an accident about a year before, drove someone off the road when he was drunk. He saved the little boy but the older boy and his father died in the crash, The mother never got over it and, even though he had turned himself in and was in prison, kept sending Joe letters. One day she decided to go visit him because he had been released and had not been answering her letters, she saw his son (Nathenial) playing so she kidnapped him so he would know how she had felt losing her son. I think the Angels eventually convinced her to return Nathenial and to open her eyes and realize she still had one son left that needed her.

It was a crossover episode with Touched By An Angel. You're also conflating the two crossover series with one of the late series 7th Heaven episodes where Robbie's gf Joy and her family are reunited with the little brother that was kidnapped several years earlier.
