Profit - 1996 US short lived TV series

Hello,

Has anyone out there got video or DVD copies of this series. It came on once
in the UK but was never repeated. If you have, please contact me. I would
be able to play back NTSC video's or Region 1 DVD's.

I don't think it is available on DVD but with the advent of DVD recorders,
maybe someone has converted their Video tapes into DVD.

Please, please help.

The TV series I am talking about starred Adrian Pasdar as Jim Profit.

TRIO is an Arts channel and has brought back Profit for december only
has not been produced on video yet ...

Trio, a cable TV network has been re-airing the entire Profit series during Dec 2002, including the pilot. However the only episode left on schedule to be shown are episodes 2, 3, and 4 as of Dec 25, 2002. Go to www.triotv.com for further details.

Did anyone ever find out if there is a way to purchase the series?

The first country in the world to broadcast Profit is France in 1997. I have seen this at this time and several times later.

Then in 1998 French Channel "Canal Jimmy" that broadcasted it made a video I bought. I have the complete serie, I only have to find a VHS player to put it on DVDs. Then, we can find a solution to brought it you.

My version is English with French subtitles pilote and 7 episodes plus interviews of John McNamara and Adrian Pasdar presenting what could have be the future of Jim Profit.

Awesome! I just recently heard of this series from my French roommate, who watched it back home in France, and I finally found it to download off the Internet (from DirectConnect, or DC++ to be exact). I love it! It is so well written and acted, I just love how Jim's evil little mind works, he is so clever. It is just the most *MASSIVE* pity that it was axed before completion, although the last episode aired (Forgiveness) almost feels like the end of series, but we know it is not the end of the story. I know that Profit was released on DVD in France, because that was how my roommate watched it. The DVD also included the cast/director interview mentioned in the last post. I live in Australia, and I hope that it is released here one day.

Would you happen to have this series on DVD...I would love to have a copy . My sister and I used to watch this together . I have been looking all over for this and I am so glad that someone preserved it .
