How did they not catch this?

I just started watching S01E16, "Under the Reds," and in the very first moments of the show, Jarod is shown drawing a green liquid into a syringe and administering it to a laboratory mouse. However, the syringe has a huge amount of air in it prior to injection (roughly equal to the amount of liquid), which would have very likely killed the mouse. The air is deliberately expunged from a syringe prior to injection, which Jarod, as a Pretender, should very well know. Also, he has been a doctor before, so this isn't uncharted territory for him. After seeing this, I wonder how many other stupid errors made their way into the final cuts of these episodes.

I have no enemies, but am intensely disliked by my friends.
