In power rnngers you can almost 100% of the time see the offical couples going on i,e. Tommy/Kimbery, Tommy/Kat, etc. The more and more that i looked at the power ranger episodes on tv I can't help but think that Tanya and Adam were a couple. Being that I was young when PRZ was airing I didn't notice, Now that I'm older I can definatly see an attraction between the two. Anybody eles?

I agree I think instead of breaking Kim and tommy up they should have started a relationship with Tanya and Adam. In the second movie they were suppose to have a romantic scene together, but it got cut out. Nakia (tanya) said that in an old chat she did. I was disappointed when they didnt do it.

Obviosly there was a relationship between Kat and Tommy, this was hinted many times. And also the relationship of Jason and the new girl Emily towards the end.
With poor Rocky been left out.....although there was that girl he liked in one episode, who didn't really like him in return!!
As much as i love zeo rangers, that was the one thing that annoyed me about the series, was all the romatic interests, i didn't really see the need for it all, and today i still don't. it seemed to take away from the other parts of the show, but that is just my opinion!!
Personally I always liked the tommy/kat couple but it didnt play out too well. obviously the both of them dated in the hawai zeo episode and still were together in the as good as gold episode but i saw a bit of a change in turbo: a power rangers movie. tommy still seemed that he still liked kat as he heroically helped her when she was attacked by the snake and when kat broke her leg, but when kimberly became evil tommy seemed to still have feelings for kimberly when he tried to convince her that shes not evil before he was attacked by jason. we see tommy and kat hug at the end of the movie but the one other thing that stumped me was that lost zeo episode called a season to remember, tommy and kat have a grandson, meaning they did get married eventually. but in dino thunger, tommy does seem to be single and hav a bit of a crush on the principle of the school he teaches at. has any one else noticed this? some one PLEASE back me up
shareI'll have to re watch the PRT movie, but I thought it was Jason and Kim, that hugged each other, in the Turbo zord, when they were inside. I think it was pretty obvious that Tommy still liked Kim, when she became evil, and also that maybe Kim just kind of hated Kat, because if you remember she attacked her, and said "Honey, pink is out" or something along those lines. And when you think about it, Kat was pretty admant of getting Tommy from the very first moment she saw him in the youth center. But the attraction wasn't mutual, until sometime in Zeo, after Jason had joined again. Because thr guys were sparring, Kat was with her ballet students, and Tommy is just there staring at her. And the guys find this rather amusing. This is all after Kim broke up with Tommy, via a letter, saying that she had met someone in Florida. Wherease with Kim and Tommy, their first meeting at AGHS at the lockers when Bulk and Skull, were hassling her, was kind of both thinking the same thing. After Tommy became good, it was quite obvious in eps after that he did like Kim. But now looking back on it, I also got the feeling that there was something between Jason and Kim. And what has always made me wonder if he was that guy that Kim mentions in her letter?? Because why were the two of them together, scuba diving, in the PRT movie?? But maybe I just think way too much!!!
And yeah, Tommy did seem to have a crush on Principal Randall in PRDT. Did he ever find out that she was Elsa?? I've only seen the eps that have been released on the DVD as here in Australia, it's only shown on cable tv, and not prepared to get it for just one show. Because if he did find out that she was infact Elsa, I think that would have put an end to any kind of interest that he had in her.
The whole "Lost" episode of PRZ, called "A season to remember" was actually shown as the last of the season, which I think was everywhere. And was meant to happen after "Song Sung Yellow" because at the end of the ep you're thinking of, they showed the film clip that Tanya did.
And I kind of thought that it was funny that the grandson, became a PR. Even though the episode is pretty much worthy of the makes me wanna puke award!!
And I don't know if you heard this one . But in the episode "Forever Red" in PRWF. There was apparently going to be mentioned that Tommy was with Kat, married I think. And Kim was married.......to Skull!!! This was supposedly in one of the first drafts of the episode, along with all the red rangers calling upon their individual zords, and trying to beat Serpenterra. But I just can't see Kim, with Skull. It's just too funny for words!!
Anyway, hope that has cleared it up for you!!

I watched the Turbo movie last night, and over the credits, they show Kim, Jason, Bulk and Skull in the zord. Jason hugged Tommy. And then Jason and Kim hugged. Which makes me think that there was definitely something there.
On another note, how Bulk and Skull never figured out who they were, even when they got picked up in the zord to go home is beyond me. Wouldn't they have recognised their voices???
I just hope that when they found out in PRIS, who the rangers were, they back tracked and figured who they were friends with, and then realised that who they called "The Nerd Patrol" and many other things, were infact the very people they were trying to find the secret identity of!!!

No offence, but of course he still has feelings for her. You can be happily involved with someone and still have feelings for your high school sweetheart. A part of him will always love Kim, but he's IN LOVE with Kat.

Sorry, but I saw nothing to indicate he ever had 'a bit of a crush' on Randall/Elsa.

I think Tommy actually tried to hit on Elsa in the first episode of Dino Thunder, only to pretty much instantly learn he didn't stand a chance in heck. Still, the way the two of them interacted sometimes and a couple of odds bits of dialog in some episodes makes me wonder if it was actually intended at some point, but never went through.

I think what he meant was while Kat was still under Rita's control. During that time she did indeed want Kim out of the picture, as she mentioned numerous times. In fact she actually ripped Kim out of the picture of her and Tommy. After she broke out of Rita's spell though she was very loyal to Kim and even though she still liked Tommy she did not try to make this obvious or do anything about it as he and Kim were still dating long distance.
I still think Tommy and Kim should have stayed together. Tommy and Kat never seemed to actually go anywhere. And if it was actually Jason that Kim later hooked up with I would be pissed but only if they kept it a secret and never told Tommy because he and Jason were best friends. I would also be SUPER pissed if they wrote in Kimberly's marriage to Skull because even though I think Skull is kinda cute, the thought of them together makes me sick. No offense to anyone who thinks differently.
Tommy and Kat just seemed so akward ( especially after you saw how much chemistry Tommy and Kim had together and how loved they were.) I didn't see the point of putting them together. It seemed like the writers caught on because it was kinda of dropped. It seemed really stupid like here is Kim's replacement in every way how stupid. Forever Red was going to use Kat but decided instead to put the line at the end about Tommy kissing on Kim said by Jason. I think it was smart since I don't know many people that liked the Tommy/Kat pairing.

Ok I think I'm the odd person but I'm a firm believer that Tommy and Jason had a thing for each other since the time Tommy first appeared. I think they realized their relationship during MMPR but kept it really quiet, as Tommy wasn't really sure he wanted it (yet). But when Jason came back, he really wanted it. Tommy hooking up with Kat was a way to keep his cover (as the 90s were still a tough time to be openly gay). I don't quite know why Jason was interested in Emily at the end of Zeo. I was sure he knew he was gay from day 1. I mean throughout the MMPR seasons you never saw him with a girl! Emily was cute and all but COME ON...leave Jason be. He knows Tommy isn't really cheating on him. He gets where Tommy feels he needs to act straight. Ok rant over.. I just watched a bunch of later Zeo episodes and it made me very angry that they were trying to spoil my Tommy/Jason-ness. Also, they were always the only two during MMPR to walk around like half the time shirtless.

My boyfriend hasn't seen the later episodes of Zeo yet when Jason comes back and I told him Jason gets involved with a girl and he's like "no you're a liar. I don't bellieve you. Why would Jason fall for a girl? You're messing with my head". My poor boy...I've warped his mind so much haha.

She got a lot more deep as the show progressed. That was her real personality. The act of being a ditz was early season 1.
Just like Billy being a geek, he got cooler as the show progressed.
Jason was just supposed to be a jock but he turned out to be a compassionate and caring leader.
Tommy was loner who became the handsomb leading man.
Zack was the fun loving guy who all of a sudden didn't say anything towards his final episodes.
Trini was pretty much the same.
I thought the way they originally portrayed Trini, as played by actress Audri DuBois, as kind of a "punk girl" was better than what they went with.
Nothing against Thui, but the character Trini was just really bland. About the only thing she had for herself was environmentalism, which is kinda boring. Everything else about her was her relationships with the other Rangers. She could translate Billy's techno-speak, she understood the intricacies of karate like Jason, and she was Kim's best friend.

There was that one episode where they had lunch together after Tommy was out of the picture (the Green Candle). If Tommy never came back which was supposed to be that way, MMPR could have had a "geek gets the girl" scenario!
shareHonestly in the original series there seemed to be much more going on between Billy and Trini. She was the only one who could ever translate for Billy. They always had a close bond but nothing ever came of it. Though Billy does hold the record for the most love interests out of any rangers. If you do not believe me do the research or watch the series from beginning to when he leaves and count. Yes David Yost is gay but a lot of gay actors play straight characters and do a great job at it. Besides Billy was always one of my favorite rangers of all time because he was genuinely a genius that would put others like Cam to shame. He built a lot of the Zeo weapons, created the communicators, and was responsible for most of the special tools that the rangers used on occasion throughout his time, like the rad bug. To this day no other ranger has built a car that can travel at that speed and fly.
