Good news folks (I hope). Season one is coming to DVD in France on the 18 October 2005. I say I hope because even though it has english audio, it might have forced french subtitles......The french title is Poltergeist : L'intégrale saison 1.

ONLY France? I mean, that would make it a Region 2 DVD... which screws anyone in the US and Canada who doesn't have access to a Region-free player.
Of course, getting a Region-free player isn't too hard, and there IS a chance that the DVD itself will be Region-free (I've gotten DVDs from the UK that way), but I don't like buying stuff online, which would pretty much be my only option to get French DVDs.
I'm more than willing to hold out for a US release, unless it's sounding like the rights are hopelessly tied up in limbo or something.
Anyone now some site that have it?

This exact thing happened with the DVD release of the Pretender, it was out in France for a while, then came to the US months later, it's coming.

I just ordered a copy from DVD Pacific. February seems so far away now I can't wait!!!! They only showed the first 2 seasons in NZ so I never got to see season 3 & 4. Chances are they will release them though, right?
