All the central characters were top notch but the later episodes i tip my hat off to daniel as geordie felt really sorry for his character getting life in prison. Our friends in the north is bold and is not afraid to show what is under englands skin corruption in goverment police real estate etc etc and the underbelly of london it sends a clear understandable message to the viewer and it says what us the public have been talking about for decades.

You only come around when you want our vote then we dont see you for 5 years now bugger off you cheeky sod.

I dont think this would be made in our current time now but i recomend this to anyone who wants to learn about england in thous days its a history lesson as well as great entertainment
