Holy crap, this was a TV show?
Im reading the book right now, I had no idea this was a TV miniseries too. Which one came out first?
shareIt was a simultaneous(sp?) release in the UK. The book, series and audio series. As to be expected the book is much better than the TV series, but the series is great for what it is, and I wish it would get made into a film with the effects that can be produced now I think everything in the book would be possible, but i do wish they'd used the orriginal TV cast. Never happen though.

There was an audio series? Also didn't the book come out two years after the miniseries

The miniseries came out first. In the DVD special edition, Neil comments on how he had longer scenes for the series, but there wasn't enough time to film it all. He wanted to keep some of the ideas he had suggested (such as Richard being in the bathtub when the people come in to look at his house) and wrote them into the book.
