I've seen it on the shelf at Suncoast, and you could probably check Best Buy or similar places.

I got it from Netflix, but that was just renting.

I've seen it for sale at places like Borders and Barnes & Nobles. But then you're apt to have to shell out upwards of $50 for it.

Amazon has it for only $36 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000A14WF/qid%3D1126204703/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/103-5607671-4584616) and that's unfortunately pretty cheap for a British TV series.

I haven't read the novel yet. So far I've just seen the tv series and the first 3 (of 9) comics. After that, I'll be giving the book a read.

But the show was a very interesting fantasy. One of my favorite movies as a kid was Time Bandits and I've always found these kinds of stories (with entire hidden worlds and such) enjoyable.

I've read the book twice, watched the miniseries and have read the first three issues of the comic and the miniseries is probably the least favorite of mine. It's still good. I would highly recommend the novel because the characters seem more human in it. In the series I felt the actors didn't do that good of a job. All though this could just be a biase because the novel was the first introduction to Gaiman that I had and still remains to be one of my favorite books (His most recent, American Gods is my favorite.).

I've met Neil (I would recommend finding a way to do so because he is one of the nicest, funny people ever) and he was talking about the making of the series and because of how off it was turning out was the reason the book was written. The idea came into his mind the second or third time they scrapped some parts of the script. Then every time after he decided to write the book, when a producer would say something is being cut he would reply "That's okay. I'll just put it back in the book." It came to a point where a producer said to him "We're cutting pages 34 to 54 and don't just *beep* say that you're putting it in the book." Neil's responce: "Okay. But I am." I just about died laughing when he told that story.

He's actually going on a book signing tour starting on Tuesday. On his webpage (www.neilgaiman.com) it has dates under the "Where's Neil" section. If you could make it you should. He's fantastic!

Wow I got off the topic.
