Does anyone remember in the line up there was a black guy they used a couple of times. He was the original 'Number 5.' But if you look up 'Buzzcocks number 5' now all that ever comes up is this weird guy with curly hair and starnge eyes.

He was in a couple of quite early episodes. It was definately Mark Lamarr hosting, and I'm pretty sure it was back when Sean Hughes was still a captain. He was basically like a zombie and they loved him so much they got him back. Does anyone have any links to him, or can you remember what episode number he was on? I remember it made me laugh so much!

Do you mean Athelston? He died of prostate cancer. For extra Athelston, watch season 18. I'm near positive one of the episodes was dedicated to his memory.
