Gladys Knight joke

I know this is a bit of a random question, but does anyone remember a joke being made about Gladys Knight receiving an award, and how she was the highest ranking Motown official, second only to the Commodores? It really made me laugh at the time.

If anyone could remember this joke being made, or could point me in the direction of the episode it was in?
