S3 too bad

This show COULD return but a whole new season season-one-two style season three would be mandatory.

I wouldn't mind the white haired Frank (that was kinda cool) back but he should show less aging (FX is for that folks) than we saw in S3 and be back at the real story ruined by last season.

Another horrible, horrible, horrible idea was the crossover with the once also excellent The X Files...

That said, the first two seasons were unbelievably great, far superior to any pretentious thing of the 21st century saving a few remarkable episodes of Hannibal (obviously they learned from these).

The FX in a few episodes are now dated but that doesn't take away from the eerie at all and like implied most of it is just as fantastic now as then.

Frank and Peter were flawlessly, masterfully played by two outstanding actors no one knew were that insanely great to date and at least one went to make a great deal of another great show (arguably the best of this century so far) (LOST).

Perfect everything, production design, sound, score, cinematography, script, in sum; all.

Thanks galore to everyone involved.

And...wtf were you "thinking" during season three?!? (That Emma Rollins or whatever her name was a terrible idea and the actress chosen just made it worse still, seriously, we got a pair of FBI agents already - which by that time started to decline in quality big big big time already)... *sighs*

More hits than misses though, just why not being perfect forever huh?

I watched season 3 about ten years ago, and was horribly disappointed, especially after the great season 2 (to me, the best season of a show ever). I hated they killed Lara Means, i hated they did as the finale of season 2 never happened. So on my rewatches, I always stopped at the end of season 2.

But...

I just watched recently a handful of episodes of season 3, and wow ! It was great ! Great photography, especially SKULL AND BONES which was really frightening. Frank Black is the only one fighting against the whole group. There is a good dynamic with Emma Hollis. In only one season many things happen with the Emma character : she doubts, she believes, and then she betrays.

The only problem with season 3 is, like I said, the finale of the season 2 is (mostly) ignored. If you can get over it, there are great episodes in season 3. Watching S3, you'd thought it was shot in 2015...
