is the series on DVD but the miniseries not?

I have the original miniseries on DVD. It consists of four discs, one episode per DVD. I just watched episode 1 again this morning.
shareDon't think they realesed them on DVD in the US. Can find it online though, think its technically considered the first season.
shareSciFi Network showed the series 1 episode per week all last year, and Showtime showed the Tales from a Parallel Universe miniseries last year.

Where in the UK can you get the sets of the series one, in 2 to a box sets? I tried Amazon UK, and they had nothing.
Ebay had some auctions recently, but the bidding got ridiculous. The series is entertaining, quirky, and fun, but $80/90 for a region 1 is a rip off. Since production was Canadian, why is it so #@$@$!!!! hard to buy copies of the original movies....
I got some overpriced ripoff copy of ONE of the movies (was suppose to have 2 movies but didn't) of the Germany region 2, and no subtitles either, that some ripoff seller put up on Amazon, and did not describe properly. So there are various copies out there.
Series one may be out of circulation, but there ought to be a few more floating around. Too bad they just don't re-release it. There is enough other less watchable stuff being made into DVDs and sold.
My brother and i both have sets of Lexx 1-4 - i know its sad but ... well actually i have nothing to say by way of justification... anyway
he has series 1 (the mini-series) in two small box sets whereas i have four individual DVD's all the same picture on the front just different colours
my set you can find easily on DVD Region 2 but the one that my brother has is very rare - i think that it was the first version and the sides of the box set correspond to the rest of the Season 2 and 3 box sets so that they make up a picture of the cast and crew of the Lexx.
i assume his set are rare because i could never find them so if it is those that you are after then it may be a good long while before you find them but if you just want the first series on DVD then the four individual DVD are easier to find
though i have just had a look on Ebay for you and they seem rather expensive as well. You wil be able to find it if you just really search the internet - it took me days to complete my series 1, they are getting harder to find though
