I was working weird hours when the show ended, and never found out if Lasarus ever found out his true identity. Does anyone know?

No, the show was cancelled before the story got to that point.

Was this ever released on vhs or dvd?

Sadly I must say, having the privlege to work with Robert during the shooting( I played his Son).... his health slowly declined and the show was cancelled! A sad loss but a great experience to work with him and the crew at such a young age!

I read some time ago that Urich's cancer was in remission and he was feeling much better and wanted to continue with the series but it was cancelled anyway.
