New DVD
First off, I'm a major fan of the show. My main problem with the DVD release is that it doesn't really include many special features. Does anyone know where to find deleted scenes and extras?

shareI just got the 2 disc DVD set...no extras and some scenes seem to be missing...at least the scene where Julian first meets Sasha and she kisses the dead corpse (of his grandson) is not in the pilot episode anymore and I swear it was in the tapes!
shareIt was in my VHS collection and is in my DVD set that I picked up in 2007-2008.
shareThe 3 Discs version from 2013 has all the extras and some made exclusively for that DVD box-set, it has 6 channels and stereo audio options, it has deleted scenes and audio commentaries for some episodes. It includes the normal and extended pilot, English subtitles for the episodes and some extras like the trailer and The Origin of The Kindred, which is an interview to different persons talking about Vampire: The Masquerade (1991-present), which is the tabletop game that Kindred: The Embraced was based on.
There's a letter from the director telling he got most of his inspiration from reading "The Book of Nod", a Vampire: The Masquerade's book published in 1993, which tells the story of Caine, the first vampire (the same from the biblical story of Cain And Abel, Caine added the E to his name, after killing his brother, Abel), The Book of Nod is also included as a physical book. The DVD box was designed to look like one of the Vampire: The Masquerade deluxe book versions.
