on this show or another

i seem to recall an episode where one vampire head didn't want a young female relative of his to become a vampire, but despite his wishes a less than desired clan turned her, a good guy from another clan stayed with her while she turned and fed her his blood but when she was well, he has to spurn her because of the clan that turned her,

was that this show or another?

That was this show.

Sasha was the "niece" of Prince Julian. She fell hard for his Gangrel bodyguard. After a brief "forbidden romance" Julian gave his blessing for her to be turned. However, before her lover could turn her, the Bruhah, in an attempt to start a war broke into where she was staying and turned her instead. Given the Bruhah and Gangrel are enemy clans, this put the two on opposites "Sides" of the coming conflict - although they did do their best to fight the primal urge to hate each other.

Things went very, very badly for the Bruhah as a result.

Sasha was Julian's great-great grandchild, he met her at the funeral of his grandchild, who was Sasha's grandfather. Julian made her believe he was her uncle for obvious reasons.

Another detail, the Clan's name is spelled as Brujah, but, it's pronounced as Bruhah,
the J is pronounced as the J from Spanish.

A little curiosity, John Leekle pronounced it in the wrong way with the J from English in his interviews and audio commentaries for Kindred: The Embraced, the same mistake that happened through all Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption in 2000.
