Lillie and Julian's relationship

I was just thinking watching the series on Chiller again about Lillie and Julian's relationship. It's obviously full of lust and loyalty. Of course Lillie was insanely jealous of any woman Julian had interest in i.e. Alexandra and Caitlin. I like Julian with Lillie and later with Caitlin because it showed different sides of his personality.

The only thing that I've never heard anyone talk about was Lillie's betrayal during the Rise and Fall of Eddie Fiori. She made Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction look tame for a minute. Not to mention cohorting with Eddie to have Julian killed. That partially soured me with her character because there was no real confrontation over her actions beside the scene with Julian over Caitlin.

I loved the scene when she told Daedelus what she had done and he almost slashed her(almost wished he did.) But overall I think that Lillie was great because she was bad but also had a heart.

When I was originally watching the show I would have said I was Team Caitlin but on rewatching, I'm definitely more a fan of Lilly. She seems like an older, wiser (and therefore more capable of extreme violence) version of Sasha who was my favorite female at the time.

I also wonder if the show had continued if they would have reintroduced Alexandra. She was still alive after the hunt and I think reintroducing her (with Julian and Caitlin being close and Frank having moved on) would have been an interesting mix.

i also thought that Alexandra had survived. Daedelus does tell her that the water is her sanctuary, and she seemed alive still as she hit the water.

I'm in the Lilly camp too. She 'got away' with her 'betrayal' of Julian for two reasons... Julian seemed to realise that much of her motivation was jealousy. Secondly, is seemed from what we are shown in the series that Lilly was head of the 3rd most powerful clan in the city.

We are shown much of the Ventrue and Brujah strength, aswell as a little of the Nosferatu's. But as most people who know the source material... the Toreador sit as the Camarillas most influential clan after the Ventrue and certainly the clan that makes the Princes more than any other... taking any sort of vengeance on Lilly would have been a bad move for Julian. Eddie and Julian both needed Lilly's alliance to become or remain prince. Eddie was just too stupid to use that support effectively.

You said it, she was having sex with other men but emotional she was in love with Julian. You can tell he was fond of her but he was growing bored. Catlin was new and intriguing plus she challenged him. Lillie could see he was falling in love with her that's why she was jealous. She knew that it was over between them.

If I wanted to kill my husband,I'd do it and I wouldn't get caught.I'd scare him to death.
