Why was it cancelled so quickly??
Good stuff doesn't always last long, Hong Kong Phooey was only 16 episodes, the original Jonny Quest was only 25 episodes.

Technically it was two shows mashed together into a package. But even if it did go as originally planned it would probably still have run into problems. Even though CN's productions made some good stuff, looking back it really did cannibalize the hopes of what was left of HB's 90s output.
