Why did/do white people always watch Black comedies especially in the 1990s and think all those shows wanted to be like Martin? Or think/thought that all Black comedians in the 1980s and 1990s wanted to be Eddie Murphy?

The Jamie Foxx Show (TJFS) was TOTALLY different from Martin. And take this from someone who has watched both shows religiously since the 1990s in their original run and in syndication.

First of all, TJFS although it had a great supporting cast, was a vehicle for Jamie Foxx. He got the best lines, best writing, best jokes and he didn't use very much double characters like Martin did.

Jamie was more of an instinctual and just stand there and make you laugh comedian on his show, while Martin was a physical comedy star for real and an improv genius.

Martin, that show was also a vehicle for Martin Lawrence, but man, the supporting cast in many episodes was just as funny and entertaining as Martin was. I can't count on my fingers how many times Cole, Tommy, Gina, and Pam upstaged or stole scenes from Martin.

On TJFS, the producers and writers of that show was on some Jamie on the first team s***, then Braxton, Helen, Junior, and Fancy are on the second team.

And lastly great_one_32789, you must be on some SERIOUS meth mixed with some dipped weed joints to think that Jamie wasn't funny on his show. You lost ALL credibility when you said some dumb s*** like that.
