Ray's "kids"

I say this from a casual viewer who would occasionally watch an episode if it was on and nothing else was. I always noticed that his children were either toddlers or young kids, but never teenagers. Was the show's storyline based on a 3 - 4 year time span and not the 11 year run it actually covered? I say this because I've seen episodes dated to 2004 and 1996 and at both ends the children never looked a day over 8 years old.

Maybe I'm wrong?

In the later years Allie was definitely a young teen. There was at least one episode where Deborah was wondering where that "sweet little girl" went. She had become a surly teen-ager.

I guess my light viewing skewed this LOL. Like I said, I usually watch this show in bits 'n pieces.

I know what you mean. There are some shows that I only watch sporadically and when there's a major change, I ask myself, "WHEN did that happen?"

The kids were young when the show started. Madylin Sweetin who played Ally was only 5 when the show started and was only 14 or 15 when the show ended.
