EZ Street was brillant

I had almost forgotten about this series. It was absolutely brilliant. I
am pleased to see that some episodes can be purchased. It is too bad
that all of them are not available. I will never forget the seen where
Joe Pantoliano's character is killing people and the characters of Ken
Olin and Debrah Farentino are making love. It was in black and white
and there was no sound. I think that it was the most powerful scene
that I have ever seen.

You're thinking of the third episode of the series "A Terrible Beauty."

You're wrong that there was no sound though Loreena McKennit's song, "The Seeds of Love" was played over it (btw If you're looking for the song it's on her 'Winter Garden' EP) and it's not in black & white either but since everything on the show looked washed out and that scene took place at night I can see where you'd think that.

That is my favorite episode of any TV series ever. I'm sad that it's not on DVD, though I have a screener VHS copy of that and every other EZ streets episode save 2 and it has extra scenes on it!

I remember that sequence! I had taped the show, and I reran that scene about eight times. (And made sure to get ahold of that song, "The Seeds of Love".)

Just extraordinary. Doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but it was 14 years.
