What the heck is this thing and where did he come from? I feel like the character is a reference to something else, but I don't know what.

Koosalagoopagoop is Dee Dee's imaginary friend. He is from the Land of Koos, home to other imaginary creatures. I don't know if he's a reference to anything, but he seems like an original idea.
