- Aliens can land anywhere on Earth. It’s interesting that even when they miss the continental US, they still fall on American territory, in this case, Alaska. I bet some might even spill over to Hawaii. Good that makes me feel much safer.
- Indians are always so full of mysteries. They can be used to explain ancient alien tales, as well as Jaye's powers in Wonderfalls.
- The Alaskan earthquake of 1964 came as a warning of a great disaster: the birth of Sarah Palin… She must be in cahoots with the aliens. Sorry, if there’s any Palin fans around here. That was too good to pass.
- It seems captains outrank generals the way Frank Bach barks orders around.
OK, not much to say. The only times I was really interested were when they went down the cave and especially when John had his vision. If only they’d spend an entire episode at least in that reality, but then that’s wishing for a total revamping of the show, and with their low budget, that probably wouldn't be feasible. If things are all a matter of faith, I’m afraid I’m losing mine in this show pretty fast. I give this one 5 creepy faces on an Indian totem.
Hate to break this to you, guys, but I've been cut off.
I've been watching this on YouTube, but the copyright holder just swept through and had everything pulled. I used YouTube for Wonderfalls, V*******!, my personal viewing of Darkroom and God, the Devil and Bob. For the first three of those, I downloaded all of them right away so this wouldn't happen. But it never did, so I switched to just watching week-to-week and got complacent. Bang!
I have one slim hope of another source, but if that fails, I'll have to rejoin you on the next series.
Oh no DT, you can't leave us........that would be like abandoning the Gold Monkey 7 shows in. or leaving Voyagers before the big courtroom scene.....You must find a way..............
I have found a local library that has the DVD set, but they won't let me put a hold on it. Normally, I can do that and they'll transfer it to my library for me to check out. If I just have to go there myself to get it, that won't be too bad; it's not that far. But if I have to be a resident of that city, I'm out of luck. I don't think I know anyone who lives there. I'll call tomorrow to find out what the rules are.
So, as Jeffrey would say, I may have to take a voyage to my (not quite) local library.
Success! They have it, I can check it out, and they'll even deliver it to my local library. It'll take a few days to get here, so I'll be a couple of weeks behind and have to do some catching up. Looks like a hive marathon next weekend.
Anaother one in the books, nothing really much to say here, I didn't fall asleep and watched the episode and then bang it was over. I didn't like it, I didn't not like it, it just was.
I was kinda interested in the legend because I thought the grey's might have been chaseing an infected grey and caged him in the ground but I guess that wasn't the case.
I thought the flash forward with john was kind of neat, it reminded me of terminator 2 judgement day. It looked like the throwbacks weren't doing very well in John's vision of the future. Clearly the guy in the phone booth was still waiting for time warner customer support.
I see Majestic has just given up and just tracks Loenguard. Just go where John goes and bang, aliens.
All in all I find it a little more watchable than I thought but no bells and whistles yet. I give this one 5 telephone booth skeletons.
This Friday on “Dark Skies” ep 8: “Ancient Future'
Just finished my second viewing of this episode the first attempt ended in a good Sunday nap. What did I learn this week good Grey landed or crashed in 100 BC and told the natives to keep an eye on his space ship. He didn’t want anyone to mess with it. Years go by the ship decides to head home so it causes an earthquake so it can escape to who know where much less why. The vision of the future was the only part that caught my eye John alone no Kim struggling to survive in a world controlled by the hive. Kim returning to her faith does that mean she will stop taking her birth control pills and bring a child into the world with the MJ12 and the hive on her trail. Two weeks no Steele things are looking up.
