How many TGIF shows in syndication and others are not in syndication?

Sorry about that. What I was going to ask was how many shows that you can name that was very successful from ABC's TGIF line up through out the time that ABC had it on and how many did not make it hardly into syndication at all?

Shows that were successful in syndication!

Growing Pains- FOX has shown it in syndication, Disney Channel has shown it in syndication, Fox Family before it changed to ABC family aired it in syndication, recently shown on Nick@Nite for a short while in syndication, and the G Network has it in syndication right now. I am not sure of any others off hand to be honest with you.

Who's The Boss was in syndication on FOX,I believe TBS aired this, Nick@Nite, ABC Family Channel, and I cannot remember any other networks off hand right now.

Perfect Strangers briefly in syndication during the day before the soaps began during the late 80's on ABC, I believe WGN out of Chicago briefly aired it in syndication, USA Network briefly had it in syndication and then went off, ION Television recently a year ago, and Nick@Nite showed his late at night about 5 or 6 years ago.

Full House it was on every network pretty much in syndication during the 90's.

Family Matters did the same for a while and then just faded away from every network. Finally being aired on Nick@Nite in syndication.

Home Improvement in syndication on FOX I believe, WGN out of Chicago, TBS, and Nick@Nite.

George Lopez Show has been on several different networks in syndication like TBS, CW Network, and Nick@ Nite I believe.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch was on FOX in syndication, WGN out of Chicago for a while, ABC Family Channel now, and I am not sure of any other network offhand right now.

Boy Meets World was in syndication on FOX, ABC Family briefly for a while, and Disney Channel.

The Drew Carey Show briefly shown on FOX, WGN out of Chicago, and last year ION Network showed it for a while.

Shows that did not make it really into syndication hardly at all but were great shows and should be in syndication though.

Perfect Strangers should be in syndication because it was a great show to watch! I have listed above Perfect Strangers but do not think it was highly in syndication like other ABC TGIF family shows were.

Mr. Belvedere I have heard has been in syndication but where I grew up no one touched it at all or even aired this show.

Mr. Cooper is on ION right now in syndication but it is the only network that has shown his show.

Clueless is another TGIF that was briefly shown in syndication like FOX and WGN but no other network though.

Boy Meets World has been briefly in syndication.

Drew Carey Show was briefly in syndication.

Are there others that you can possibly name that were successful or not so successful at all?

They show Clueless & Sabrina on The-N currently...I also remember this show about this surfer dude guy, he was Brink in that Disney Channel movie of the same name.

Don't read this

I briefly saw the N back in September when I was visiting a friend of mine and it looks like a cool channel to watch. They had Growing Pains which I loved to watch in the 80's when it was on.

You are correct about Sister Sister being a part of TGIF for a short time and then. The thing is that it only aired on TGIF for a very short time though. I cannot believe that it airs on WGN now and it has been on ABC Family for a while.

See that is some of the shows that are lucky to be in syndication. It is a shame that other TGIF shows did not air very long in syndication though.

I understand on what you are getting at but there are some shows that did not and that is what I am trying to get at jilpen-1212. Some of them almost every network wanted to show them and they are still in syndication run now. I do not know why but some of them are and others never even were looked at to be placed in syndication.

That is the thing that I am trying to say there are some shows that they have shown but then there are others that they did not though in syndication. I do not know why they do that for.

I thought that was a great show and figured that it would have lasted for at least 4 to 5 seasons because everytime I watched it I was laughing due to the baby dinosaur. LOL

That is a part of my theory with television. When there is something very good that the family can enjoy people do not want to watch it but if it is stupid and not very interesting at all people love it and it stays on forever for some reason I do not know why.

I know what you mean about who knows. Well TGIF actually started around the mid 80's and lasted up until ABC kept toying with the line up and removing shows or adding shows to the TGIF line up. Yes I agree with you that ABC was pretty dumb because they cancelled a lot of its shows that did very well on the Friday night line up that they had. Yes they would be considered big hit shows today. That to me does not make sense as to why they cancelled Sister Sister and and kept Mr. Cooper. You are correct about that and using NBC's left overs and ordering scripts for King Of The Hill does not make any sense to me at all.
