Why did the dad change in the seasons. It was the heavy guy than the skinny guy, why the change?

lol..that's right plus the ld dad wanted more money so..they thought why not just get a new one

In the movie he was a skinny mean & scary dad, then in the show he was fat & somewhat mean & scary, then when it went to the last skinny dad he wasn't mean & scary at all, he was a nice guy.

I preferred Michael Lerner to Doug Sheehan. He was more intimidating, the way Cher's dad was supposed to be as a lawyer. I was sad when they changed actors.
