It should have two other chapters

There should be a chapter on the itialian cinema, which gave us the epic film, (even before Griffith), and the Russian cinema, which brought the art form to it's peak in the 1920's. Then it would be perfect. I wonder, if somebody came up with the money, would the producers go back and do these two other epsiodes a decade after the original came out?

There should probably also be something done on the origins of Asian cinema. "Hollywood", "Cinema Europe" and an Asian equivalent would be the perfect trilogy.

I just got the movie. I haven't seen it yet but the first thing I did is to check the episodes, and I'm shocked not to find episodes dedicated to the Italian cinema and the Russian one, which gave us some of the best directors and finest movies in the history of cinema.
How can you call a documentary "Cinema Europe" without those two countries?!
I feel very disappointed,like I have been cheated !

...is that what there is of it is so good. If the rest of it was poor, you wouldn't mourn the absence of two such important chapters. I've read somewhere, (and cannot now find it), that they had originally planned to do other chapters but they didn't have the funding. Hollywood: The Silent Years" has 13 chapters.

I'd like to see something similar on the Asian cinema. I don't know much about the early cinema in other areas, such as Latin America but maybe something could be done there, as well.
