Question about Season Two
I haven't seen Season Two in about eleven years so I don't really remember much of it. I was wondering if or how they explained the absence of Anne in the second season.

That's the most frustrating thing about this series is that they don't explain the disappearance of many of the characters. Two of the main characters, Karla Tamburelli, whom played Det. Darlene Broussard, and Troy Bryant who played Lightin' Hawkins were both gone from the series midway though the first season and no explanation was ever given for their disappearances. Susan Walters who played Anne Osborne stuck around until the final episode and also disappeared.
Leslie Bibb who played Det. Janine Rebbenack came onto the show at the start of the second season and remained until the series cancellation. Only Tony Crane (Remy McSwain), Eric George (Smiley Dupree) and Barry Corbin (C.D. LeBlanc) remained on the show for its entire duration.
What happened to the other characters is one of the mysteries that is never explained as if they disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle. I guess one has to use their own imagination or formulate their own theory. Hope your guess is better than mine.
