This is a good story of Benchley to remake for the big screen...

Only it should be someone who wants to make it better than the book, like Jaws (even Jaws 2)...and make it a superior film.

In the hands of a good writer/director it would do wonders....(making another terrific film).

However, everyone has their own opinion...

I agree this deffinently needs a remake

There comes a time to put away childhood things. But some things just won't stay put!
