20th Anniversary

It was twenty years ago, on April 28, 1996 that “The Beast” premiered on NBC. While I don't normally watch TV miniseries, I found this one interesting because at the time I was really into “Jaws”-style movies about sea monsters terrorizing seaside communities. Looking at it critically, I can't say it was really all that good, but in terms of childhood nostalgia, I'll always enjoy it. Anyway, I just wanted to mark the occasion of “The Beast's” twentieth anniversary.

Seems so long ago now and I often go to Patonga where they filmed it and walk along the wharf where the Privateer was mored by Whip and along the beach where the house was. Beautiful area.
