David Kaye

Wasn't he one of the most iconic villains of the 90's as Megatron? I certainly think so, always something cool to say and delievered every line splendidly.

"What does not destroy me makes me strong . . . what attempts to destroy me shall be obliterated."

Megs was one of the coolest villains ever, I almost rooted for him at times.

I still remember watching Coming of the Fuzors part 2 on a black and white TV set and jumping when Optimus returned to beat up the Preds.

After seeing Code of Hero I wanted to stop watching the show for good, by that time Dinobot was my favorite after in season 1 I was rooting more for Rattrap.

I liked season 3 more after Depth Charge showed up. He couldn't replace Dinobot of course but he was really cool to me.

I also think CG makes Beast Wars stand out more and some parts may look dated now but the show itself is still very enjoyable.

He was absolutely. The most iconic, memorable villain of my entire life, he was my favourite character even when I was 6 and I saw that episode "Coming of the Fuzors, part 1" on VHS .

Even now when I see David Kayes voice work on anything, Mysterio in Spiderman shattered Dimensions (what a treat that was) Iron man in Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects, or even Jim Gordon in the Batman Arkham games, I always think "That's Megatron speaking" I imagine Megatron, not David Kaye, reading the lines because ofcourse, it is he who played Megatron !

Definitely, he was an awesome villain. To this day he's one of my favorites of all the villains I've seen.
