I thought this miniseries was good.
It really made known what had gone on the prison back durring the Civil War.

I liked it too. I don't watch war movies on a regular basis. In fact, the reason that I watched this in the first place was because Olek Krupa was in it. As a result, I ended up liking this movie. It's a very dramatic war movie. It's also my favorite Civil War movie. The last shot in this film is mind numbing and gets me in the heart. I rate it 8/10.

I agree. 'Andersonville' is one of my favorite Civil War films. Really good acting and some great action scenes. The final shot always gives me goosebumps. I have been to Andersonville and the site of the stockade emanates with sadness. At the cemetery the site of all the graves are truly awe-inspiring.
