why did the show stop?

why was there no season three or four? or in that case why did the show ever end?

Only two season, it was cancelled because of poor ratings (aka, Jacqueline Collen left, and without her character, Maeve, most viewers left the ship (no pun intended) and the show just sucked)

According to the show's creator, Ed Naha, the show didn't continue because of behind the scenes politics. Sinbad had been renewed for a third season, but there was a change in production companies and at the last minute, one of the new financial backers pulled out.

That's too bad because I would love to have seen Naha's Season 3 because he had some great ideas planned.

Many Syndicated Action shows only got two seasons or less.
Look at the one where Roger Moore played the boss less then a full season and they didn't broadcast all the EPs.
What ever happened to Syndicated Action shows?

Don't count the STARGATES as they were on Sci Fi first.

Having just read some of what he had planned for season 3 (the fusing of the two 'Sinbads' from seasons 1&2, the fleshing out of other stories, the return of Rumina, etc.), I think Season 3 would have been their best year ever. Too bad it got canceled. I feel that could have been the season that brought everything together and made the show a hit.

But yes, I read it was behind the scenes stuff and they used the ratings as an excuse.

It's not about who you are or your fancy car. You're only ever who you were.
