That doesn't explain it to me. No one can be good enough to be worth putting up with her. You can find other girls that are good in the sack. I personally always though Simon was with her because after his STD scare he made a pact with God not to have sex again unless it was the woman he was going to marry, and he wanted to keep having sex so he just decided the woman he was currently with was the woman he was gonna marry. I think he was an absolute denial about her because he didn't want to go back on his pact with God so he convinced himself he loved her.
