So Jane married George for the military benefits. George is Erics brother(by adoption) How did Kevin not recognize George in Episode 7, when George was in his living room while Jane was telling him why they can't be married. Also how did George not recognize him or realize he was in the backyard of the Camdens.
shareI like to think of it as an unplanned continuity error, and the writers only thought of it when they were able to get Peter Graves and Barbara Rush to reprise their roles one last time. It's a shame they didn't get to follow up on that plot line at all. It would have been interesting to see Eric and Annie's (especially Eric's) reactions to finding out that Jane married George.
