What's the song under the closing credits?

As the closing credits roll there's a very catchy song indeed! Sounds like it might be Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett singing...any ideas, as I couldn't see it listed at the end of the credits!? From the words, it sounds like it should be called "This Feeling Of Love".

I,ve been looking for this song for several years, and was very happy when I found it in the end titles of YPH. But I still dont know who made it... I've been looking up craig douglas and its possible that he's the one, but I'm not shure. He is the last name on the end titles list of songs/artists. And his voice sounds alot like the one in 'feeling of love'. If you have figured out the name of the song and artist, please let me know.

In the words of critic Richard von Busack, at metroactive.com:

".... The best of British smarm is slathered over the soundtrack, from the syrupy Anthony Newley-like crooning of the imaginary singing favorite Dickie Boone (Peter Pacey) to a number of '70s hits you never wanted to hear again." In other words, it's Pacey singing god knows what atrocity in the style of the fictional Boone.

The lion and the calf shall lie down together, but the calf won't get much sleep.

I've just watched the movie again. As well as the closing credits, the song appears twice in the first 15 mins of the movie, sung by "Dickie Boone" - but Dickie Boone has an English accent, and is definitely not the same singer as the one singing in the closing credits, who has an American accent. The backing instrumental is identical though. I'd say that Peter Pacey is the singer at the beginning of the movie, but definitely not at the end.

According to this thread:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115033/board/nest/18939413
the song appears on the soundtrack:

...The soundtrack was released in Europe, in 1995, by Deram (a subsidiary of Decca which I'd believed to be defunct since the early '70s), and the catalogue number is 844 429-2. Full UPC code is 4228444292...

The Oody Doody Song is an original composition.

1. THE OODY-DOODY SONG (THE DICKIE BOONE SHOW THEME)
Ken Barrie with The Munich Symphony Orchestra

I guess that clears it up. I would love to get hold of that record!
