Is This the Movie Where ...

The plot synopsis & some threads here make this sound like an almost identical, cheap version of "Predator". I remember watching a movie on TV when I was young (about 15 to 20 years ago) that sounds like Xtro 3. Someone please tell me if my memory matches this movie, or if I'm thinking of something else:

The alien can turn invisible, just like the Predator.

The alien shoots yellow-ish plasma/lasers, similar to the Predator's blue plasma.

A group of marines are in a jungle/forest searching for and/or being stalked by the alien, just like in Predator.

At one point, the marines find the alien's crashed spacecraft in the forest and (briefly?) explore inside it. I remember lots of darkness, black/green hues of the spaceship interior during this scene.

Does any of that sound familiar to anyone? I've always wondered what the heck that movie was... thanks in advance!
