When I was a young girl, about 11 years old, in a cinema, I watched it for the first time. Even if I couldn't understand it at that time, but I remember I cried, in the end, when Chow kissed the girl.
The movie affected Chinese youth a lot. If you can't understand its humour, please appreciate the love story, more beautiful than a fairy tale.

Those r all true. An excellent movie. Maybe Chow's best and 1 one the best Asian films in 1990s.

So if Chow was a bit arrogant, it certainly wouldn't matter at all.

What're Chow's movies u guys favor most? IMO, they're the 2 "Sai yau gei", "God of Cookery" and "Tang Ba Hu dian Chou Xiang". "Kungfu Hustle" and "King of Comedy" were also very good.
